Boat tours and turtle islandMae Phim is not only famous for its mainland beaches, but also for numerous islands at short distance offering amazing getaway beaches and even one full island dedicated for sea turtle observations and care which is free to visit and especially for children a must place to go to.
Canopy AdventuresSwing through the treetops from platform to platform on a total of three kilometers of cables. In one day, you will discover what Da Kao Yai National Rain Forest has to offer.
Diving & snorkelingSnorkel Tours are available to both Koh Samet and the nearby islands. They make a few stops for snorkeling at the island’s southern tip (Samet). You can also dive in the waters around Mae Phim. The depths are around 10-12 meters. Dive Zone and Rayong Dive Center offers both diving and dive training.
GolfThere are now over 26 top class golf courses all within the region now known as Eastern Thailand, where Mae Phim is located as well. Close by Rayong en Mae Phim, less then 50 minutes drive are approximately seven excellent courses.
HTMS PrasaeThe old U.S. military ship, taken over by the Thai navy and then renamed to HTMS Prasae. This royal battleship was towed to the mouth of the river Prasae and put on display there in 2003.

Khao Chamao – Khao Wong National ParkThis national park covered a area of 52,300 rai with the lush forest with a great variety of flora and fauna which is the watershed of the Prasae River. The park has two natural trails for tourists to explore into the nature and wildlife which are two and three kilometers long, respectively. Trailing in both routes is subjected to the prior registration at the tourist centre where houses and tents are included in the admission. Comfortable shoes are a hot tip because the walk requires some rock climbing and hiking.

Khao Wong CavesThere are nearly 60 caves in the national park but only 20 of them are tourists allowed to visit. In some encounters the Buddhist monks who have taken over the caves and moved. A copy of the Buddha’s footprint can be seen in one of the park’s caves, which has become a small temple.
Noen Nang Phaya ViewpointThe most beautiful viewpoint in the east region, one of the Dream Destinations, honored by the Tourism Authority of Thailand and it is a must for a visit.

Oasis Sea WorldAt Oasis Sea World you can swim with the dolphins, a nice full day excursion for the whole family.
Rayong AquariumAn attraction for any kind of ages, especially family group of visitors. There are a lot of sea creatures for visitors to look around or learn how they live. Both indoor and outdoor sections are separated for visitors to look around. For indoor section, visitors can see various beautiful marine lives in 43 tanks, while the outdoor one is for ponds of shark and turtle, a shell museum, and an exhibition of fisherman life as well as local fishing tools. This aquarium is also clean and well organized enough to look around easily. Lastly, one of great points here is that the entrance fee is pretty cheap even for foreign visitors.

Sun Thorn Phu parkIn rememberance of Su Thorn Phu, the famous Thai poet. His statue rises on the hill and below you can find statues from his most famous work.
Location: about 5 km north from Mae Phim Beach.
Water ParksThere are many waterparks with a focus on family fun to appeal to younger visitors. Most feature big high-speed slides for the adrenaline junkies as well as more relaxing attractions such as wave pools and lazy rivers.
